    Looking to start a group

OP, I'm just throwing this out there, but we have a group of 4-6 regular players, all 18+. We already have an established teamspeak as well as a Chernarus server, and Namalsk Server. We are friendly and helpful players, but limit our friendlyness to those in our teamspeak. We are not a clan and have no member ranking or hierarchy, as we are all grown men. We don't wear tags, as that puts a huge target on our backs from hackers and the like, as well as gives away our coordinated efforts against others. We have 4-6 regular players as well as 10 casual players that come and go as they please. Add me on skype or hop in our teamspeak channel to play. Don_DayZ is my skype, Teamspeak IP: 173.255.236.229 We don't only play in our home servers; we frequent a lot of public servers and other private hives. Check us out! That goes for anyone else too!

    Forming a bandit group

I'm just throwing this out there Sidelined, but I have a group of 4-6 regular bandit players, all 18+ and I think it would be an excellent idea if we merged groups. We already have an established teamspeak as well as a Chernarus server, and Namalsk Server. We are about as ruthless as they come, and limit our friendlyness to those in our teamspeak. We are not a clan and have no member ranking or hierarchy, as we are all grown men. We don't wear tags, as that puts a huge target on our backs from hackers and the like, as well as gives away our coordinated efforts against others. We have no problem playing with tagged players however and if you are interested, let me know. We have 4-6 regular players as well as 10 casual players that come and go as they please. Add me on skype or hop in our teamspeak channel. Don_DayZ is my skype, Teamspeak IP: 173.255.236.229 We don't only play in our home servers; we frequent a lot of public servers and other private hives. Check us out! That goes for anyone else too! Edit: Here are our credentials - Ages: 18-35 Experience: 6-12 months Aims: coordinated banditry Able to speak english: All speak english and more. Skype: Mine is Don_DayZ Preferred map: Chernarus, Namalsk, Panthera

Looking to join Gang of Bandits

By ex military he means he was once in one of the branches of the armed forces, and is no longer. What is there to specify? You want to know army, navy, air force, etc? You want to know if he killed someone too? He served our country, whether behind a computer or behind a rifle. Don't be a douche.Signing up for the reserves in and of itself is doing something. You don't have to be deployed to be a man. Have some fucking respect. Edit: Not sure the policy on profanity, but I feel justified in emphasizing the amount of respect that this nerd owes any and all who work in today's military.

Looking to join Gang of Bandits

Join our teamspeak and hop in game with us if you'd like. No application process, no clan member ranking system or arbitrary hierarchy. Just a bunch of adult individuals ranging from 18 to 40 years of age playing something we all enjoy. Come and go as you wish, play with us or against us. Most of us have a bandit play style and are constantly 'looking for action'. A few like to camp and snipe, but most like to roll in guns blazing. If it sounds like something you're into join TS IP 173.255.236.229 We host 2 servers, one Chernarus for the more PVE oriented players, and one Namalsk for the PVP types. Check us out!

    Looking for a group...again.

Hey Preston, we have a teamspeak hosted in NYC, as 90% of our members are east coast. We are not a kiddie clan. We are just a group of individuals who enjoy playing the game. We don't have arbitrary member ranks or any sort of hierarchy, so nobody tells anyone else what to do. We're age 18+ with jobs or in college so our humor and language is typically adult themed and not for the faint of heart. If you want to hop in our teamspeak, the IP is 173.255.236.229. We host 2 servers, one is Chernarus, the other Namalsk. We also play other PC games including battlefield 3, Arma 3, Planetside, etc. We look forward to the standalone version of DayZ. Your play style sounds great, we welcome bandits and heroes alike. We always have a surplus of weapons and can gear you up from day one. Game on.
  9. Byrgesen, PVP is as much a part of this game as PVE. If you are afraid of pvp interaction, go play dead island. Don't get mad at people for killing so much. Instead, get mad at yourself for dying so much. You don't know what the focus of the game is supposed to be. If pvp was not intended to be such a large part, they could have limited the weapons to deer rifles, shotguns and pistols. Instead they implemented an arsenal of military grade weapons including grenades and satchels. I have no responsibilities other than burying your body after I loot it, simply so it doesn't stink up the place. To the individual who made the asinine statement "I bet 99% of the people who kill in dayz wouldn't in real life..." No shit. This isn't a real life simulation of "What you would do IF". It's an M-rated video game where you can indulge in less than civilized behaviours with no real world repercussions. So although blatantly obvious, I suppose your statement has some truth to it. The 1% of DayZ players that will actually go postal on innocents, are the ones who rage when they are killed on sight, and complain about it in the forums. I only hope they are as bad in real life at harming people, as they are in DayZ and are taken into custody quickly. In addition to those statements, you go on to state your opinions as fact as if you know how people would react in a future hypothetical scenario. As it stands in todays more civil regions of the world, we have individuals murdering innocents in mass because they lost their job, or their coffee was cold, or just plain insanity. Don't you think a zombie apocalypse in the near future might stress a few more people out than simply losing your job today? The main reason you may think mindless killing would not occur is because you live in a civil society that has laws and punishments for those who misbehave and perpetrate such acts. You are taught how valuable and precious life is. Go to a third world country and see what 'justifies' killing another human. It does not take much, and life isn't even worth a days meal to some. If the infrastructure that holds our civil society together were to completely collapse, you better believe individuals would take matters into their own hands. If there were no laws or consequences for taking another's life - i.e. no authority to enforce those laws - do you really think murder would not be rampant? It would be survival of the fittest, and the strongest largest groups would begin absorbing the smaller useful groups, and disposing of undesirables. When countries governments fall, the people don't immediately band together and get along. Different factions try to gain power to the resources, and impose their will on the weak. Enter DayZ. We are fighting for resources. To say society got the way it did today from being civil would be innaccurate. How many wars did the the world see? How many tribes, native communities, and whole countries have gone extinct at the hands of the more powerful "civilized" societies? The OP probably does not need to see a doctor. More than likely, you should pick up a history book or even a current newspaper to see how truly civilized human nature at is core can be. Edit: I suppose if you have credentials in sociology, psychology, or perhaps some degrees in human history, feel free to post them here, and I may possibly concede to your opinions as fact.

    Serious Group/Clan

OR if you're not interested in joining a kiddie clan, you can join our group. No hierarchy or arbitrary member ranking. No stupid tags. No one telling you what to do, or where you should go. Feel free to team up or go solo as you please. We have 16+ people, most with careers or in college. We play other games as well including BF3, Planetside, Arma 3, etc. We also host and admin a Chernarus private hive, and a Namalsk private hive. Feel free to hop into our teamspeak, and get playing! When is it Okay to KoS?

I kill on sight whenever I feel like it, with no apologies, no regrets, and with ease. If you don't like being shot, go to the far reaches of Chernarus, sit down next to a tree, and never move again. Maybe that was how the game was meant to be played? I don't owe you or anyone else sh-- and that includes your own life. If it is advantageous for me to kill you and take your gear, I am going to do so without hesitation. If you are approaching or inhabiting an area that I am going near, I will kill you, no questions asked. I don't care why you are there, if you are a bandit or hero, or if you are "friendly". I am not, and I don't expect, or ask anyone else to be. The only time I won't kill on sight, is if you are far enough away to not be a threat, or are heading an opposite direction and my life isn't immediately dependant on eliminating you before you eliminate me. I enjoy the PvP and PvE aspects of the game. Everyone is welcome to their own play style. If you are a pacifist, feel free to never fire a round, and just go around farming for food and drink. Just don't ask everyone else to do the same. It doesn't make me a bad person for killing a bambi on sight. I paid money for this game, and I intend to play any way I choose.

    Casual DayZ Team Signup

I'm not sure how old you and your friend are, but if you happen to be 18+ hop into our teamspeak to get playing dayZ. We aren't a clan, have no member ranks, and enjoy playing the game in any way we like with little apologies. Adult language and content is assumed when joining our teamspeak, so please only join if you are 18+. We run a Chernarus server as well as a Namalsk server, and play several other games such as planetside, BF3 and Arma 3. Teamspeak IP 173.255.236.229
  13. It's a tribute to an old timey bar and grill we have here in the great state of Alaska. Dick, believe it or not, is a fairly common name here in the US of A. and this particular Richard so happened to be somewhat skinny. I suppose it was meant to be a clever and humorous double entendre. Many people get a kick out of the name, and I suppose if he happened to be obese, he would have called it "Fat Dick's". I hope that answers your question. Here is a link if you would like to know more; http://www.skinnydicksak.com/

Looking for other players to join group!

If you want to join a clan full of kids, there are plenty out there. If you want to play with mature older individuals, come check us out. About us: Typically we play with 4-6 people per ts channel to minimize chatter and cross talk. We are over the age of 18; most of us with jobs or in college, so there is little immaturity among us. We're just a group of adults who enjoy working together with no hierarchy or chain of command. If you want to come check us out hop on into our teamspeak. IP 173.255.236.229
