I think your computer uses this graphics card (integrated with the CPU). Your CPU is better though.

Pretty damn sure setting shadows to Very High or High will increase frames opposed to having it below high. Because CPU renders shadows below high and GPU renders shadows High and Very high.

What time does server maintenance happen this Wednesday? Because I've heard that that is when the new stable patch is being released?

No problems for me

Because the server does a lot more work now and they want the loot respawn in the game once they have made the loot tables MUCH more efficient.

My friend and I were hiding in the apartment building opposite the central firestation in Elektro (where everyone goes to snipe). We both were watching the tower of the firestation through our windows for any unlucky targets. Two guys suddenly appeared at the second level of the firestation tower, (one guy with an M4 and another with another gun). They were both chatting away with voice on direct chat. My friend fired an sks round into his gut and the victim suddenly screamed, "You F***in' f**k! You F***IN' F**K!" while blasting his full clip into the guy beside him xD He was still blasting him as the guy was laying dead on the ground as well xD So obviously he must have thought the random beside him shot him, instead of us xD Was bloody hilarious for my friend and I!

Puta is b**** in spanish :P You poor poor soul. I guess at night time, it's pretty much impossible to be able to tell who shot you.

Hahaha that is so epic! xD Damn shame you got killed by a guy with a pistol straight after. But I guess that's DayZ for ya :P One of my main gripes at the moment is the AMOUNT of desync going on. When people sprint, they just go all over the place. Makes trying to hit a moving target almost impossible.

When did I say we combat logged? We hate combat loggers. it's our first time camping in that building actually :P But not much else to do in the game atm.

Been experiencing a lot more crashes than usual in this current stable patch. Is this just me or is everyone else getting the same issue?

Of course there is no definitive fix. Too hard to pinpoint what is actually crashing it atm. I remember my friend and I found a pocket of area that we would crash if we went anywhere near it on a certain server. Was very strange.

I server hopped about 4 times and it fixed it for me. Actually 3 times. But what I did (which may be what fixed it) was change some of my clothes to my default character. Could try that?

Yea you can :) Was much better in Windows 7 than vista as far as I remember. But its even better in Windows 8.1. It's just smarter at finding the programs you want. But yea they were pretty much the same in that aspect you are right xD

I am finding Windows 8 UI fantastic with a mouse to be honest. Just press the start button on the keyboard and start typing the program you want and press enter. Old start menu was more tedius in a way. But that's just my opinion :) All good if you guys prefer XP and 7.

DxTory with the Lagarith codec is awesome. I've also heard MSI Afterburners recording software has very minimal impact.

Seriously. Have all your settings at high/very high. Now Disable anti aliasing, Ambient occlusion, V-sync, Post process affects and ATOC. (Might be something else, but I can't remember). Now set your video memory to default. That literally will probably give you the same frames (or better) and will look better too. Having everything on low can actually slow it down. Tell me if it works or not.

Actually shadows on Low makes the CPU render the shadows. So set it to high/very high and it will use the GPU. Was like that on ARMA2 anyway. Good results on SA for me :)

It's a very small team and games aren't easy to make. It takes time. Bugs are hard to pick up and fix as ANYTHING could cause it. Like Rocket warned everyone. Don't buy it, it's currently broken.

Probably just your computer. As all computers are different. But I haven't really tried this on DayZ, only know it definitely works on ARMA 2. But I guess there is no problem there for you anyway :P
