I've had a similar thing happen to me. I was up at Berinzino sneaking around trying to get some loot, I peaked around a corner and there was a zombie1 walking at me. So I turned around only to see zombie2 was point blank in my face, I killed him but he hit me once and I started to bleed and I knew the zombie1 heard the shots and just before I could turn around he hit me in the back and broke my leg. I managed to kill him and didn't alert any other zombies, weird. So I bandage up, and in the middle of morphine a Lee Enfield takes me down. :( I've also found that when faced with a hord of zombies, smoke grenades are a godsend. So now I always keep at least one in my inventory.

if they implement that then I think they would need to come up with some extremely complex "escape routes". Think about it, if you're trapped in a building and the stairwells are clogged with the undead and there's no way you can run around them, you would be looking all over for ways to get da eff outta there, smash a window, crawl on a ledge, slide down a drain pipe, repel down the building (this would be really fun actually, granted you have a rope). It would make the game more interesting and fun, but just thinking about the different situations and ways one might think of to survive is insane.

I agree with you, although I do not use any .50 cals I think that it's ok if someone else does. I think most people are just frustrated at the wrong things though. The military weapons are not the problem in the game, it's the duping and hacking of them that are the real problems. It seems like so long ago I would be super excited to see an M14 or CCO SD but now it seems like everyone has them and can never lose them. On the other side, the duping can ease the frustration of being killed by a hacker because you know you can just go get your stuff again and again. The standalone should take care of these issues and return the game back to how it was before all of this stuff started happening. The sooner they release it, the better it will be for the rest of us.

I might be interested, I don't play much anymore either with school and work. The group I did play with doesn't play as much due to hackers and bugs so I just scavenge by my lonesome now, or play BF3.

Best part is the owners of the camp wont even notice anything's gone. lol

You should be able to play on servers with an old Arma version, it may be grayed out but that just means that the server version is not the same as the client version. Clients cannot join servers with versions newer than what they have.

I've never had any experience with it, just read some of the interesting stories about hackers doing this.
