My stuff's disappearing, need help.

So just the other day I found a crashed chopper with an M107 and M249, both with mags. I put them in one of my tents, went away for a trade I was planning wiht some guy and when I come back it's gone (I saved the tent of course). Now I know some of you will say someone found my camp, but no. My camp also holds an L85, M4A1 Holo, MK. 48, etc. Better stuff than what I just found. Now I have an M240 and am actually scared to put it in one of my tents because it might disappear and I can't keep that thing in my backpack forever. I need help!

Tents have a set amount of storage space so maybe it's full? If so since patch 1.7.2.6 they will be deleted on putting them in... Check here anyways

Was the server restarted after you putted everything in?

I had this to, raided someone's else camp putted everything in mine (saved everything) and after server restart everything was gone.

It wasn't full. Only the new stuff I put it disappears and the same with all my cars -_-

Luckily my old stuff remains. I'll test some things with empty cans I guess.

I thought this but we recently accidentally over-filled a tent and we found the stuff that had "disappeared" on the ground about 10 feet away.

Your tent was full - it can hold 10 weapons and tools. So if you put box of matches it will take one weapon spot and you can miscount weapons spot that available. Make sure you have no matches/maps/and other any tools.

I just said it wasn't full, I know that whenever you put too much in the tent it spawns on the ground somewhere near it.

WOW! I just checked back and saw like 4 of the tank traps i set up disappeared and that i suddenly have two M240's. I remember putting the M240 in my tent, saving it, then noticing my other stuff was gone and I took it out again and saved the tent again. Looks like sometimes the tent simply doesn't register my save, so I accidentally duped it :S

Problem solved I guess... I'll dispose of the second M240.
