3rd Base in 1 week

3 bases so far have been killed due to server resetting. Weve had 3 vans 2 motorcycles 2 offroaders and a gaz. All after a few hours of having them / server admins realizing cars gone, the server magically needs a reset which resets the cars aswell. well see if this base gets deleted too.

If they aren't saving the vehicles when they park them - then they will reset back to the last known save point.

However we have crashed a Hilux - it exploded. Went about our business for a couple of hours, the server restarts and the Hilux is back where it exploded - only not exploded anymore.

All I know is that there seem to be no vehicles available in any servers. Presumably because clans have swarmed in and scooped them all up.

Kobra, as I said in my thread, vehicles are never permanently gone and they just temporarily disappear sometimes for a few restarts/crashes.

All of your vehicles are still probably where you left them.

Never once have I had a vehicle permanently disappear due to server resetting/crashing, I've had some disappear for up to 12 hours but they always come back.

Ive had like 6 different cars, ive remembered where ive saved them all, remembered where I found them, server resets, cars are no where to be seen. My problem are the server admins who probably roll back 6-12 hrs to get their cars back. so yea dont tell me they are going to be there CUZ I know first hand thanks.

Server admins CANNOT roll back. Vehicle locations are controlled by Hive. Only the DayZ devs have that power.

Yes, I'm sure that the reason your extremely buggy vehicles are disappearing from this unstable alpha is down to server admins abusing powers they don't have

When you put time and effort into someting only for it to be fucked over by the server side and not stolen then yea youll be pissed too, unfortunately for you you lack the knowledge of this thing called effort therefore you dont understand. Anyways it was not stolen, the server was inverted when we were putting the stuff away

They aren't supposed to, but they most certainly do. It's something that needs to be fixed in the game code though.

Edit: to male my point clear: I've lost too many vehicles to chalk them all up to theft. That said, the people in this thread blaming it on admins are idiots. It's just something Rocket still needs to work on fixing.

The map isn't that big. So if someone is checking those areas where 'normal' people never go to: you can find a LOT of stuff. Sometimes 3 - 4 tents full with stuff, which is then placed into a lootpile outside, destined for despawning.

Vehicles are the same, you find them, you take them, loot them, hide them somewhere else and be happy about if it's still hidden where you hid it.

Get used to, you're not alone and you're not the only ones that roam in the north-eastern area near Berezino or deeper in the woods. It's amazing what you can discover sometimes.

Sounds like you lack the knowledge to understand that this is an alpha, and bugs happen frequently in alphas.
