New Guns and stuff!

Well here's some new stuff and Guns.........

Usp Pistol:

This pistol would be good for DayZ. Why? because it has 15 rounds per mag. Goes up to 20 foot each shot.

How much damage does this pistol do? 3000 blood per shot.

Where can this pistol be found? Anywhere.

Range on gun: 20 foot.

Vector Smg:

I think this gun would be good for the game cause it makes the game a little more interesting. This gun will use .45 ACP rounds. This gun will use Glock 21 magazines.

Damage on Smg: 5000 damage per bullet

Range on gun: 20 foot

P200 pistol:

Just another average everyday pistol....

Type: Double Action or Combat Defence action (HK proprietary)

Chamber: 9x19mm Luger/Parabellum

Weight unloaded: 620 g

Length: 178 mm

Barrel length: 92 mm

Capacity: 13 rounds

Golf club: It come's to a point were i like betting the shit out of zombie's with a golf club.

Damage for golf club: 4000 blood damage per hit

Baseball bat:

Homerun any zombie or players you see!

Damage per hit: 4000 blood damage

P90 SMg:

Cant believe this isn't in the game..

Damage: 6000 blood per damage

Range: 60 FEET

I could just go suggest my favourite weapons around as well, but I wont do it. Because there's no way in hell these are being added.

Oh, I'll disagree alright. First. None of the ranges you're describing are even close to the real world capabilities of any of these weapons. Really? A pistol can only shoot about twenty feet? A sub machine gun that fires 5.7x28mm high velocity ammunition can only top out at 60 feet?

You're silly.

I can't tell if you're actually serious, listing off what are all popular modern warfare weapons, but I'm going to make a few points.

1. The USP and the Vector are both mainly available in America, even though the USP is a H&K weapon, it is therefore unlikely you'll find them in post Soviet Russia.

2. Melee weapons of all shapes, sizes, and types have all been suggested before, use the search function.

3. The P90 may be used in countries around the world for law enforcement, military, and civilian uses, but again, post Soviet Russia. You're going to find more AKs than you are a sub machine gun made in Belgium. The weapon also is typically chambered for very specific ammunition you wouldn't be finding at the local gun store.

The standalone doesn't need your garbage damage estimates either. Try again.

What cartridges will your USP be chambered for? (for the love of fuck, don't say USP ammo)

And go buy yourself a measuring tape. I could throw that Vector SMG further than 20 feet.

Though OP suggestion is fucking dumb, we do need bullpup rifles as the really high value loot.

P90 would have the rarest ammo on the face of Chernarus (50 rounds @ 5.7x28mm) but would be awesome in CQB

They use them in the Ukraine and Turkey and stuff, so it's not too far fetched for them to show up in fictional countries too.

EDIT: I don't mean Turkey is fictional, but Chernarus is.

True its not that far fetched, but what good would the 5.7x28mm be against a zombie horde? Its primarily a high velocity cartridge intended for defeating body armour, gimme some hollow point/ballistic tip hunting ammo for those soft and squishy moving targets!

Russian made bullpup assault rifle. Hideous, but wouldn't be completely unseeable in a Russian state.

The weapon doesn't differ very much from an AKS-74U, and is in fact just the same components rearranged, mostly. It is very modular, and can be a cqb weapon, assault rifle, sniper, and has the proper set up for a grenade launcher.

Also, don't fire it left handed. You'll get a hot casing right into your face.

About the damage... you think its now realistic to take clip or two from makarov to the chest or any other handgun and walk away?

I think handguns need good buff. And damage needs to be calculated by the location it hits the body...

I think the 2 clips to the arms and not killing would be ok, but arms/legs would be unusable... but chest..

That is something what is COD like, where handguns are almost useless.

Msoin Nagant for sure. Post USSR..... by 1998 there were over 30 million produced. I'd say that it is most likely that the mosin would be found there.

Weapon damage is one of those things that will probably get changed a lot during alpha/beta.

I agree it doesn't make sense that you can take 16 rounds in the chest and just bandage yourself better. I just don't know if a complicated system of localised damage could work on an online game with 50+ players without putting a lot of excess pressure on servers to calculate it.

I think if bleeding was multiplied by each hit taken, it would at least make a little more sense. If you're full of holes, you should bleed out WAY faster.

Thats an great idea if the bleeding would get multiblied.

And even regular bodypart multibliers could work without too much straign on the server..

Like

Headshot = 13043109439 multiblier, except sticks and stones.

Torso shot 2.0

Legs/hands 0.2

handgun/smg damage around 5k

AR 7k ->

Rifles 8k->

just totally random numbers. Bloodcount could be brought up to 15k
