Godmode or?

So I was hunting this guy down. For a while I figured I was just missing shots. Then when I got closer I see the blood coming off him when the shots were hitting him. I persisted. I hit him at least 10 times with visibly seeing the blood come off him with an AKM. I was kind of committed at this stage, with no reasonable retreat. But after taking some hits and dropping to 1.3k blood, he died. Is this godmode? Or is it some kind of hacked health system? Is godmode infinite damage or only takes so many hits? Counting the likely hits and the confirmed hits, he must have taken around 135k damage.

EDIT: Its not the first time Ive had a situation like that with this player (its on a private hive with nameplates). Except in the other cases I wasn't able to confirm the hits because the range was too far. I noticed he taunts me and others for "being a bad shot". I think I might avoid trying to kill him from now on. The guy has admin rights or he is close friends with the admin. Its a bit sad because the server is pretty clean beyond this guy.

Nice. Ill be aiming for the head from now on. Damn it was close. Shock, broken legs, 1.3k health and bleeding lol. I kept passing out like every 15 seconds and slowly went around trying to find animals to hunt to restore blood and I was right ouside Cherno :/ Back to full health, no broken legs and out of shock.

yeah it seems these script kiddies forget that an outright kill shot (head) drops them god mode or not.... it is hilarious to watch them on side channel "Fucking hacking bastard, i had god mode on how did you kill me??!!" proceed to many laughs and the idiot being banned :)

Do not be silly telling city legends - god mod sets the damage to the player to '0' - head shot, dick shot, whatever. Check the DayZ community ban list and you'll see many examples of this script. If not - then go to youtube and see all videos when a zombie skin player with hatchet teleports and chase players who is desperately trying to shot him.
