Can't run DayZ?

When I try to play dayz it just lags. I get between 3-5 FPS but I beat all the recommended requirements for arma 2 by a fair bit.This only started happening today and I don't know why its happening :( I run normal arma fine

You need to post your specs, your settings in-game, and quickly test out vanilla ArmA 2.

Try that out unless you have. It has pretty much everything to get your system running clean and possibly the game.

I heard that since zombies use player models, which are used for complex stuff, it puts a great pressure on the performance of the game. I can even run near thoese frames sometimes, and then sometimes i run 60fps and + constantly. Server probably needs reset, or something.

I can go from 5fps to 60+, GTX 550TI.

Turn down the graphics settings globally on your ATI/AMD, or NVIDIA.
