whats it use?

No use, High chance of it being scripted in... get rid of it if you want, it really does nothing at all!

You can apparently pick up some spooky radio messages near the radio tower on the hill. I think its legit.

I get them randomly lol, like whenever some is shot on the server, doesn't half annoy the hell outta me at times!

No dont drop it, there is no need it doesnt take up any needed room in inventory as you will never fill those little slots on DayZ. You can tell us if you do get spooky messages at the radio tower or not xD

It's pretty useful. Press 5 then press one of the little messages that pop up. It's pretty entertaining. You can say things like "I've been hit!" and then hear the satisfying click after the radio message.
