DayZ requirements

Hey everyone i haven't downloaded the game yet but I was wondering the requirements to get the game, do I only have to get arma 2 operation arrow or do I have to get the full arma 2 game? Please answer.

You can get DayZ to work with OA and the Free version of Arma 2 - look for a guide somewhere. It isn't as hard people make it out to be.

The only downside is that the textures are fairly low res and ugly compared to having the "real" Arma 2, but it's cheaper.

I have a radeon HD 6650m and an a6-3400M @ 2.0ghz.

On a server that doesn't suck I'm usually above 30 FPS unless in towns and such.

Benchmark this gpu if u want a comparison. ALTHOUGH, this game is very poorly optimized and may not work on even High End graphics cards for odd reasons.

Now where would I be able to get a free version of arma 2, and is it just a demo, or actual game?

No idea - That's outside of the scope of your question. It works with DayZ and that is what you asked.
