Gand (DayZ) 8 Posted October 9, 2012 Good day all,I have a problem with random vehicles on my server instance flooding my RPT at insane speed. 17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""17:38:27 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [XXXXXXXX# 1055926: tt650.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX""I am talking about 10-20 KB per second log file growth, which is simply not sustainable. I have attempted to keep the server offline for at least 1 week in hopes of the broken bikes resetting and getting fixed, but no dice. As soon as the game starts, the log flooding begins. I believe there is more than 1 bike, which probably got teleported into the ocean. The server is not usable in this state.Have any server admins ran into this issue before and found a solution? Any insight greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time.
Frop 33 Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) Yes, I did. I had the same problem with the chopper last week and was able to fix it due to some helpful suggestions (you will need at least one buddy to help you out though). I assume you're able to determine the location of those vehicles with the entries in the .RPT file (if not, just let us know).http://dayzmod.com/f...or/#entry923246 Edited October 10, 2012 by Frop
