How to find a server with players?

How do i find an ordinary, public, standard dayz server? with players??

The server list has been completely overrun with a gazillion private servers running lots of different maps on a dozen hives. All the standard servers i see in the list have five or fewer players :(

Is there another public server list somewhere?

DayZCommander -check the box to 'Hide unofficial server'

Download DayZ Commander (google is your friend)

Tick the 'Hide unnoficial' option and in the drop down box select the 'DayZ only' map option

Find a server or two that regularly has lots of people on it at your play times and favorite them in DayZ Commander, done and done.
