DEDICATED UTES SERVER

hi there everyone.

i am currently trying to setup a dedicated utes server, and not sure if i need DayZ to get it up and running ?

i have a server with windows 2008 R2 installed, steam is also installed with arma 2 and OF.

i have also installed the dedicated arma 2 and OF server thing.

yet i still dont know how to get it up and running ?

do i really have to have a MySQL database like dayz ?

could someone please point me to a thread or artical that can help me set this up ?

For dayz you need an sql database

the problem im having now is that i cant launch the game coz my server doesnt have a graphics card . it only has onboard and when i put in a Gcard it doesnt wanna load into windows. (server 2008 R2)

nevermind, had to install drivers from rdp

You don't actually need to launch the game, you just need to run the server application.
