cant join vilayer servers

No matter what I try, I cannot join any vilayer servers, but hbservers work just fine. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions for a fix?

Also if you not running dayz commander you got to have it after this big update to update he new maps and updates to join

basically I attempt to join, and get stuck on the black loading screen, just never loads. It let me in one panthera server, then I was kicked from game about 5 mins in, and now cant join again. Even reinstalled everything today to no avail. How do you join specific servers by ip?

EDIT: I was able to join that server, gave me the wrong dayz version, since I havent updated fallujah yet, but nonetheless I got in

Do you know how to fix this by chance man? My friend hosts a Vilayer server and I have the same issue. I can't join his. I get stuck on the black loading screen.

a week or two ago i got killed on villayer's fallujah server then i went back to gender select bla bla.picked male and bam.black screen forever.i ended process and rejoined server.Now i got stuck on loading on even vilayer fallujah server. :( i wouldnt complain much about if not the fact there is only 2-3 fallujah private hives and some of them are tottaly custom(u spawn with a map and g36sd as example).

I have this problem as well.

What happened:

• I got shot (friendly fire) and killed inside a supermarket on Panthera map (Vilayer hive).
  
• The server was: 208.115.201.154:2342 (which is named Banzore.com)
  
• After I got killed, I waited for "you are dead" screen, clicked disconnect and then clicked join to respawn like I always do when I die.
  
• Stuck at "loading". The longest I've tried to wait is 45 minutes.
  

What I believe is the problem:

• I got killed inside a building, and somehow my position corrupted my data. I am not certain of this.
  

What I've tried to fix it:

• Tried to create new player profile. No success.
  
• Erased old player profile. No success.
  
• Tried to update everything in Dayz Commander. No success.
  
• Tried to verify integrity of both Arma II and Operation Arrowhead in Steam. No success.
  
• Tried to reinstall everything. No success.
  
• Tried to join other Vilayer hive servers with Panthera map. No success.
  
• Tried to join other Vilayer hive servers with other maps. Got in, but stil No success at joining Panthera maps.
  

What I've heard could fix this issue:

• Wait for the Vilayer hive to wipe your data.
  
• Wait for the Vilayer hive to restart (might be the same thing).
  

What I'm going to try now:

• Heard of a way to use multiple player accounts. I'm going to try this only to see if I can get it working.
  
• Look for possible ways to wipe my character data from the hive database which is most likely the issue here.
  

Let me know if anyone have found a fix. So far I haven't, but I'll promise to get back here and report if I do find a fix.

Final solution as of now is to just play on other servers.

Hi guys,

we had a few of our regulars come across and start suffering with the same problem, we were told it was everything to do with there broadband lines... after a lot of digging and testing someone i know came across this and passed it onto our community page.

This is not my fix, it may not work, it worked for our regulars (7 of them) please dont hold me responsible if it breaks something and you have to re-instal everything again! you can try it though.. i hope it works for you!

So in case anyone you know has a similar issue, they can add a line to their Arma .cfg files with the appropriate MTU size for their connection as follows:

class sockets{maxPacketSize = 1490;};

Where 1490 is the default. After some force packet sized ping testing we found my friend needed around 944 as his value. Still not 100% this is fixed of course but since the change (and with a couple of hours playtime on random servers under our belt)

As a Vilayer server admin I can tell you that there have been 2 major updates in the last 24hrs, I'm installing 4.5 at the moment and it's already taken an hour to get to 46% I expect it's these updates that are causing part of the problem. I couldn't join any 4.2 servers this morning, so hoping that this new 'fix' will sort things out.

Okay, thanks for the replies. I'm back with some feedback:

• My friend tried logging in to the server with my CD key registered. No success.
  
• Tried what you suggested Machoman even though first point here excludes that solution. No success.
  

What this most likely concludes is that some data regarding my character and my CD-key has most likely been corrupted in the servers database.

Since the issue in my case is only related to Vilayer Panthera map servers, it might be tied to the Vilayer database for Panthera maps with my data in it.

I'm firing loose shots in the fog here, so light me up if you have any clue what the issue actually is here.

For now I'm going to wait for new updates on this issue, and play on other servers in the meantime.

I'm back with a little something from my ARMA2OA.RPT file. This file tells everything that's going on during play.

The three lines below are repeated for more than 50.000 lines in the file:

Error position: <dayzPlayerLogin2) > 0>

Error Undefined variable in expression: dayzplayerlogin2

Error in expression <count (dayzPlayerLogin2) > 0>

EDIT2:

THIS might just be what causes the problem.
