New FHC05/06 Panthera Island Private Hive

For those of you who have played on our servers before, we wanted to announce we are back and have 2 Panthera servers up and running on a private hive.

For those of you who haven't played on FHC servers before, we're a PVP oriented group mainly looking for good-fights. Admins are hands off except in cases where server rules are violated, of which the only really non-obvious one is no battle-logging. A teamspeak server is provided for those of you who want to team up and use 3rd-party voice comms instead of the Arma 2 systems. We have automated restarts every 4 hours. There are no special privledges for anybody, no private hive admins spawning in heuys for friends or declaring areas off limits, because where's the fun in that.

As Panthera is still experimental admins are available to help you past any bugs you run into until the map is finalized. We also have hourly database backups to allow rollbacks in case of hackers logging in and screwing everything up. We've been running around testing it out for a week or so and the server seems stable and workable. The map itself is just great, more varied terrain than chernarus and no oog map (yet) that shows where everything is so the old sense of exploration is back. As the server is pretty new there is lots of oppertunities to gear up for newer players.

For some arcane reason the servers will not show up in dayz commander (we are working on figuring out why), but simply filtering for FHC06 or FHC05 in-game will bring up the servers. If you need help installing pantherea, or are having trouble connecting to the servers themselves, simply post in the FHC thread and somebody will help you out.
