Revamp of the murder/death system

Currently if you kill someone ingame, you will be immediately notified of it by receiving a murder or a bandit kill in the debug monitor. I don't think this should be the case - moreover, I don't think bodies should have the "flies" sound surrounding them.

-If you change how the system currently works, killing someone will become much more tense than it already is. You will have no way to know if the person you shot is dead or just grievously wounded/unconscious. This brings in the possibility for mind games like playing dead. You will literally have to pump round after round into the person, then go check their pulse to make sure they are dead.

-Additionally, if dead bodies make no "flies" sounds, you will have no way of knowing if an area is dangerous (someone being killed recently) other than by directly seeing the body. This will keep people on their toes.

-This could indirectly hinder practices like sniping, as people from 800m away will not be able to tell if they have secured a kill or not. They will be reluctant to waste their high value ammo on a target that already looks like he is dead, not to mention firing a second shot to finish someone off (who might not even need to be finished off) could give away the snipers position, as the first shot is usually not enough to precisely locate someone. Snipers would have to be more careful, sniping should be a dangerous business.

Most people close in for the kill once the body drops anyways, if you already made the choice to shoot someone you aren't gonna be worried about winging him.

If you're reckless, then yes. But anyone playing seriously would not go in to finish the person off if it would put them in danger. For example, if I dropped someone in Stary, I would not simply walk up to them to secure the kill, because it would be too dangerous for me to do so. I'd keep my distance and wait for a better opportunity.

I'd like to see flies appearing around a corpse about 15-30 min after death.

It should be there to help people track down nearby long-dead kills, but fresh kills should be silent and stealthy.

I like the debug menu....

I'm not even a bandit, I don't pursue players and attempt to kill them I just like the debug menu for stacking my stats.

Also bodies would attract insects very quickly on a warm day IRL.

And blood bags go bad very fast if they are not refrigerated. DayZ is not about being realistic. If a feature improves gameplay but is a contrivance, it should not matter that it is not realistic. Additionally, if you want to get super realistic, were in Russia. It's probably too cold most of the time for flies to flock around a body anyways, not to mention when it rains.
