Server LU241 waiting for character

I've been playing on this server for weeks now without any problems. Since two and a half days ago I can't get in anymore.

I can join the server but I keep getting stuck on the loading screen where it says "waiting for character to create". It's not just me since there are no other players getting in either and the server has been deserted the past days. It hasn't been updated or anything.

Is there any way to fix this client side? Server restarts didn't help anything. What causes this to happen and is it fixable?

Just tried again but still no luck. In a few dayz my tents and stuff will be gone when they haven't been touched in 7 dayz. I don't know what to do and there is no contact information of an admin anywhere for this server. ;(
