x7steelers7x 1 Posted June 14, 2012 Dear Rocket, I see no other way to present this as I have been trying to for a while now. Many people have asked for some sort of side quest or something that would give them other things to do. While this wouldn't been considered much of a side challenge I think it would still be interesting to do. For those who lived up north for some time now you know that food can sometimes be hard to find and your only resource is to find an animal to kill. Now I know that people want to constantly remodel this game to make it hard, more challenging, and more realistic and the one thing that has bothered me was the fact that animals don't flee from you. Whether they hear a gunshot or they see you trotting towards them wielding a shotgun they always manage to stand still even at the face of death. How hard (from a programmers stance) would it be to make them run from you so you really had to try to kill them? I think obviously certain animals should retain certain speeds but I feel this could be done. Maybe they don't react to bows since they are pretty much silent and could also be found in forests instead of just fields. So far I have liked for the most part what this game has come to but this is really the one big thing that bothers me. Anyone else hate this too?tldr; animals should run when being hunted. Not stand still
