Your GUID is generated from your CD-KEY. Yes' date=' you CAN spoof it. Prior to BETA 93825 you could even join a server and play for a minute before BattlEye kicked you off for having a spoofed GUID. Now you can't anymore.

Sadly, the "script-kiddie-thread" is probably a lot more informative on the subject than BI is.

If the 'hackers' are reporting this is working... then it's likely working regardless of whatever BI is reporting.

These are the same script-kiddies that spent a month laughing at the ineffectiveness of BattlEye, only to get permabanned, yes..?

Dude, dont talk about stuff you dont know. There is a simple command you write in the ingame chat and it posts everyones GUID in the chat. So its entirely possible that someone uses some sort of hack and uses someone elses GUID.

This function is normally used to find out the GUID of a hacker so you can ban him.

Seriously, are we on this again..?

BattlEye asks "What is your GUID?"

Hacker answers: "SPOOFED GUID FROM OTHER PLAYER"

BattlEye asks "Ok, what is your _CD KEY_?"

Hacker answers: "Incorrect CD KEY"

BattlEye kicks hacker off.

Problem is, before Beta 93825 you could start playing before BattlEye verified your GUID matched your CD Key, thus hackers could just spoof, log in, do some haxxy hax stuff and then get kicked off.

PS: I once killed two guys who both had some really good stuff (both had silenced m4a1 with loads of ammo, both had GPS, both had NVG, both had Cayote backpacks etc) and in their inventory they both had satchel charges that it wouldnt let me loot from their corpses. Is this a legit item? I found it a bit strange how i couldnt loot that one item and how they where both risking it in Chernogorks with all that good gear.

I killed a guy with that exact same gear. Could be a 'cheat template'.

SAtchels are legit. I've found some in NW airfield and have videos using them.
