Okay heres one I have not seen.

Lots of grass and Hay laying around you know things that burn real easy.

I'm thinking Flares and tracer rounds can set things on fire.

For example you see the zombie horde milling about near a barn and you need to distract them, So you toss a flare, meh, not so distracting but then the grass starts on fire burnning towards the zombies ignighting thier clothing or causing a distraction.

Smoke and Flame starts to roll along the ground and you get to the barn with little issue.

It would also be a great tool to break contact with players. The smoke and flames make it hard for them to see you at range allowing your escape to safety.
