Loading screen stuck - HELP!

Recommended Posts

I've been playing DayZ on the laptop that I have now for the past couple of weeks, and on another laptop before that. But yesterday I couldn't join any servers. I'd open Sixlauncher, connect to a server, as soon as I join, it will get stuck just before I'm about to join, I can hear in-game chat but it will just freeze afterwards and I'll hear nothing.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Can somebody help me, have you been able to fix this?

It's usually caused by the server you are joining not being restarted frequently, ARMA 2 DayZ has memory leaks like mad, thus has to be restarted every 4 - 8 hours to keep up performance.

It's also caused by connecting to a server before you assigned a GUID. Just wait until it says your GUID in the bottom left and then click OK.
