Roy0441 9 Posted October 3, 2012 As far as i know bulldoser plays really shitty on this game. Even with all the bulldoser tweaks nothing improved.Could there possibly be some way to ask arma2 beta team to update to help support Bulldoser Arch? Makes me wish i had a i7 now.... plays skyrim fine max settings at 75-100fps, mercenaries 2, cs:go, Torchlight 2, Guild Wars 2, all COD's, l4d1&2, you get the idea.Only hardware issue was the mistake of buying a bulldoser, which some games have not updated to know how to use. all performance tweaks have been used. My friends computer has a i7 with same or lower specs plays this perfect with no stutter or fps drop, all bc of i7Win7 Home Premium 64bitAMD FX 8150 Zambezi 8-Core 3.6GhzAntec25 Kuhler H2O 620 AMD SetupCorsair Vengeance (4x 4GB) 16GB DDR3 1600mhzHIS IceQ TurboRadeon HD 6970 2GBMSI 970A-G45 AM3+ AMD 970 ATX AMD MotherboardNZXT M59 Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer CaseWestern Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard DriveThermaltake BlackWidow 850W PC Gaming ATX Power Supply TR2 RX 80 Plus Bronze22.5" Acer LCD Widescreen Monitor5.1 Logitech Surround SoundTurtle Beach EarForce PX21 HeadsetLogitech G105 (MW3) KeyboardLogitech M-BZ96C Corded USB Optical Mouse
IncognitoNico 71 Posted October 3, 2012 It's funny how people puts in all the things on the desk when putting in the specs... you only have to put the GPU, CPU motherboard and RAM (and sound card if you have one) a mouse is not going to determine whether or not you can play the game. But answering to your question, I don't really think they would, I mean, you can ask but ArmA 3 is coming out around january so with 3 months left for the release of ArmA 3 I don't think they will do major changes to ArmA 2, but you can still try
=DiG= Zgraphz 84 Posted October 4, 2012 Um... well its quite simple... arma 2 is completly harddrive depended so it does not matter how much RAM you have.. technically it still runs like shit. put it on a ramdisk mate, if you dont know how heres a video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmeLuCQXn-M
piemanpm 13 Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) It's not Completely hard drive dependant at all. It's mainly CPU / GPU dependant. If you want to try and get some extra FPS, have a read of:http://www.rockpaper...php/t-2565.htmland have a look at:http://i.imgur.com/1AQoW.jpgI installed a RAM disk and it didn't make one difference. =DiG= Zgraphz 84 Posted October 5, 2012 ummmm, well then, why is it when i turn the MB from the HardDrive to RAM, all a sudden my dayz flys like superman on crack, forget the fact i have 12GB of RAM installed. My gpu/cpu isn't the best money can buy, but no were near as bad as it was, without Ramdisk. The best is a Soild State Drive *SSD* but if what your saying is true, then, these should not boost any preformance at all... yet they do... greatly.
