Question about Lingor island, Takistan and Chernasus.

Hey there,

I had a question about the three Dayz maps, are the characets shared or do you have an alternative character on the maps? I'm sure this question probably has been asked before but I've been looking for a while now and I couldn't find anything, if thats the case I'm sorry for posting this and could somebody please link me to the thread where the question is answered.

Might I suggest using DayzCommander, can make server notes, useful for if you actually use the other maps. For example, I've got my Chernarus character, fully geared up etc. I play in Lingor with a newer character because I can do things in that game I wouldn't do with my other character, like run with no weapons across the entire map while singing.

Server notes help keep things organized and I use them to mark tents, vehicles etc. Cheers!

Tmull, that made me smile. :) :beans: I seem to do a lot of bleeding mainly, no matter which character. In fact, right now it's only dayz official that I'm alive and healthy. I've got bleeding bodies on non-hive servers all over the place. :huh:

Actually, if you there are any friendly players out there or medics working the lingor island servers, I'm lying in a pool of blood under a staircase, if anyone would like to give a transfusion! :thumbsup:

Don't forget about Fallujah! It's not the best map but it's always fun to fly around in a littlebird and just mess around :P

How do u log onto the different maps? Do u have to download a separate mod? I've only ever seen the option for chernerus. I use play with six as my dayz launcher

Oli, I'd suggest downloading DayZCommander. It's super easy to keep your updates inline and switch updates even, for different servers. That way you can download every map except for Utes and search for those servers.

And personally, I hate Fallujah. Hate Hate Hate. It's a bunch of terrible buildings, few zeds and little else. At least as far as I'm concerned. I like the military loot spawns of Lingor that you just fall over. But Chernarus is fun for messing around in Cherno/Electro etc. :)
