Just some ideas

What would be cool if we had is:

-Chips. Wouldn't be cool if you could get Lays or Pringles or who knows how many chip producers are there. (Restores 120 blood)

-Chocolate and chocolate bars. Like Mars, Bounty, Twix, Cadbury, Milka(best european chocolate IMHO) . (Chocolate restores 100 blood and Chocolate bars 50 blood and stackable 2 per slot)

-Beer and Whisky. *insert popular brand names here*. Beer and Whisky should boost morale(continue reading).

-Morale. Would be like humanity but a little more realistic. If you kill someone, your morale is halved. Your morale drops slowly when you are not near players. Campfires, warm and cooked food and alcohol boost your morale, but not as much as staying with players. If your morale is too low, your aim gets poor, like as half bad as shooting after running too much. Because let's face it, in a real life scenario killing people WILL make you go insane, not talking to anybody would as well. And you will say "no man in a real life scenario i would kill anybody". Well yeah i got to say 2 things to that: 1) This is a game not real life and 2)You sitting in front of a computer saying how tough you are doesn't make you one. If you want to learn the effects of killing people are, ask a soldier or read on some psychology report of soldiers coming back from a war with lifetime scars (not only physical).

-Bottled water and soda. 2L specifically, a bottle of it would take 2 inventory spaces, can be refilled and you can drink from it 3 times. Would be rare tough.

-Can opener. You would need it to open cans safely(keep reading). You could attempt to open a can with a hunting knife(because u can), but there is a small chance of you getting cut and bleed OR lose around 100 blood.

-Antibiotics and syringes and cold. Once the temperature is fixed, the antibiotics and anti-cold treatments such as Penicillin or Gentamicin Sulphate, would treat the cold in 1-2 doses. Alternately, if you are well fed, no thirst and around a campfire, you would get healed from it. Cold would make your thirst bar go down quicker as well.

-Raw meat. Eating raw meat would give you 250 blood, but gives you a chance of getting a cold or sick.

-More consumables. Bread(60 blood), Maize flower packages(for making polenta, keep reading), Mashed potato mix, Seasoning for flavor, Tea packages.

-More campfire uses. Pots(taking 2-3 spaces) + Campfire = make your own food/drink mix. You could heat up your canned goods, add them together. You could make tea, that would help cure colds faster, and boost your morale a little bit. Maize flower, Mashed potato mix + water = food. You won't gain very much blood from it, but it will fill up your hunger.

Thats all i have for now, please tell me what you think :)

I like these ideas, the others I'm kinda iffy about. The morale thing would make it more realistic while helping to lower the amount of "Deathmatch with Zombies" attitudes people have. In order to solve your crisis you'd have to be an alcoholic haha.

Maybe only the 100 blood for opening with knife though because I don't think people are going to like the risk of bleeding out from a nick to their finger :P

New ideas:

-Coffee. Mixed with water, gives you 2-3 minutes speed boost.

-More canned goods. Spam, chicken and pig liver parfait, canned vegetables such as peas, maize, pineapple etc.

-More foods. Dehydrated fruit bags, nut bags, gummy bears(yum).

-Batteries. For flashlights, and gps( 9V and 2xAA packs)

Normal flashlight- 6 minutes 2xAA

Military flashlight- 15 minutes 2xAA

GPS- 30 minutes 9V

Gun flashlights -12 minutes 2xAA

Radio- 4 minutes 9V

Some of this is very Fallout NV-ish, and I'm not sure if I like it or not. I suppose it's an area of complexity you don't necessarily need to get into. Much like Minecraft it would probably be pretty cool if there were a lot of food crafting options.
