No Vehicles

We got our new server running finally, our first host was terrible. I suggest NO ONE use defcon, there total crap, at least for Arma. Let me get to the point then, our server just started, we had no vehicles, we rebooted the server and they were there, now, after an hour of having them the server did a weird crash thing... Everyone was either kicked out or (what happened to more people) they disconnected to the lobby and had to reconnect, after that all of the vehicles were gone and have yet to come back. I heard that once vehicles are back they never respawn... I honestly hope this is not the case because we were really looking forward to using some vehicles.

Nice outdated link. We also just got a server up and it has no vehicles, is there a way to get this fixed?

@The Other Two - Do you know how to check your RPT file? It should be located in the config folder for the server. Look for lines such as

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76438UAZ_CDF"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76437Volha_2_TK_CIV_EP1"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76435hilux1_civil_3_open"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76434hilux1_civil_3_open"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76433BAF_Offroad_W"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76432S1203_TK_CIV_EP1"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76431Smallboat_1"

13:34:29 "OBJ: 76430Smallboat_2"

This will atleast let you know if vehicles are spawning or not. In some cases if they don't spawn. Reboot the server again and allow the mission to load before letting people in. You might also try rebooting the mission(This worked for me once).

Can this be done on an instanced server? I am looking in the Control Panel provided by my hosting company and I cannot find this file?

If you are not having vehicles spawn, then your ID is most likely above 1000. IDs above 1000 will be getting vehicles soon :)

I think your question was answered by Dizzymagoo. If they were there and then weren't after a crash you need to make sure they are spawning. Sometimes it takes up to three restarts for my server to load tents and vehicles.

Pretty much this. We waited a good week or two before vehicles were activated on ours. Wait in line bud, it'll come soon enough, then you'll be the bell of the ball.

Wellll, I was wrong, update today that say's vehicles should be on all servers. My bad, apologies.
