is there a way to get steam to see my arma2 and oa games if i didn't buy them from steam? thank you

There should be a "+ Add A Game " button in the lower left corner of your steam window that allows you to incorporate non-steam programs into your steam library.

yea i tried that and it isn't accepting my cd key, which is from a store bought copy. I went up to the steam help page and it says only digital copies can be regisered with steam... https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-WUSF-3601 so does that mean i am shit outta luck?
