Kicked out of Chopper in Lingor.

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just recently helped a friend buy a server for Dayz and we had it up for 3 days now. With little to no effort we found a chopper spawn in one of the towns and took our time repairing it. Once repaired, we grabbed some fuel and headed out to the island north-west of the main landmass. I'm not sure why but when we hit the water and had traveled about 50% to the island from the shore, our screens went black, and the pilot (not me) flew out of the chopper and into the water and died, while I teleported to the position I was at before I got onto the chopper and suffered shock, followed by what seems to be fall damage as if the altitude change gave me damage without falling. Needless to say i died and the chopper is lost at sea with all of our belongins. This isn't uncommon to stumble upon problems like this in dayz but my question is, Is this the working of a glitch in the debug when you spawn out at sea and it debugs you into shore or something of that nature? OR Could it be a hacker was on the server and he pushed us out of the chopper with a script? Please feel free to leave comments below!

Lingor isn't an officially supported map for DayZ. He would of miss clicked and pressed eject but then again there are scripts for auto-eject I'm sure of it. Though I do doubt it was a script kiddy.

So what you're saying is that it was most likely a glitch?

With hours of flight time logged, I assure you I did not "accidentally" eject. My gut says script kiddie and not a debug glitch for a multitude of reasons.

First off, one of us dropped directly from the chopper over the water (pilot) but the other was teleported back to his pickup point.

Second, although we both died in different ways, the death message hit the server in the same second, regardless of the different locations and circumstances of each death.

Third, we had just conducted a fly over of the entire map before heading towards our destignation. Enough time had passed from our fly over to the incident for some butt hurt script kiddie to alt tab and either verify the script present or load his bypass.

Private hive solution? I banned everyone but the regulars. Problem solved.

I can confirm its something to do with debug area or something because exactly the same happened to me and a friend an hour ago, I was booted out heli(pilot) but he managed to eject and parachute to safety.

Bit annoying really as it would be an ideal place for a chopper to be fairly safe.

Im glad we found the chopper working, so luckily not too much time was wasted.
