Saving Vehicles offmap fixed so you cannot yet?

Hey all, quick post to see if people are still able to save vehicles offmap ?, I thought I read somewhere that they have finally fixed it so you could only save vehicles within the map area but just want to check to make sure.

out of the map borders, most of the vehicles will go boom in 24 hours. Except the push bike, which hasn't gone boom or anything in ages :X
