vital 2 Posted October 1, 2012 ok so first to start off i love dayz. which is why i am wanting to set up serversknow i know u need to get the id and all that stuff and am ready to do that but first i have a problemi am trying to see how u can run dayz on linux server box i have a linux server box and want to run dayzi checked around and i cant find any instructions for it but i see that people can run it on linux so this leads me to my question can anyone post how to do a setup and what to do for it because im lost and want to get everything rolling for my clanall i need is just a simple how to and where to get the dayz files thanks for taking the time to read this and sry for any bad spelling im running on 3 hrs of sleep and 6 monster energy drinks lol Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

(probly just a linux executable for server start)If you are hosting a database you probably will find samples enough how to setup mysql on linux.But if there is an option to host game server on linux there must be a linux distibution pack at DayZ somewhere, i'm not a legit dayz hoster so i don't know if it exists.
