Tents and Cars

Seems like the tents inventory is based on zones, i put up a tent and filled it, my friend put a tent next to it, and wasnt able to put anything in it (like it was full) then he moved his tent a bit away and there he was able to fill it up.

so does the tents "share" ammount of inventory slots if they are to close to eachother?

To the cars, i read on the wiki that the toolbox was removed on 1.7 patch. Is that true? if it is, does it mean ya dont need toolbox to repair a car now? or are ya not able to fix a car at all?
