If you use the rcon use players command then ban and use the number on the left hand side that should ban them as banning is probably the only thing I know how to do ahah.

No, you want to ban them with a very long string of numbers and letters that shows up next to their name, known as a GUID. If you caught them in your logs, the number will be there. If they're still on the server, I highly suggest a RCON tool that lets you ban by right clicking on their name.
