Is there a problem with DayZ at the moment? or just HFB?

Our HFB server which is set to expire today still allows us to perform the following tasks.

1. We can dupe use any useable item.

2. We can dupe our body giving an endless supply of ammo weapons etc.

In wondering what we were going to do next with a server we found a youtube video of how to setup a private server. So I thought I would try it. I'm amazed.

All duping ability is GONE!

Vehicles spawn in and are in abundance.

Helicopters! we found two of them and the spawns are actually consistent with the dayzdb map.

In all honesty the private server has outperformed my expectations. the Zombies are killer badass. But the lack of duping ability really makes the game much more fun.

so my question is. Why does the normal dayz server still allow duping? and to top it off.. why is the helicopter still not showing up on the island?

I think the server files at HFB are broke in the region I am from.

Because, the difference between the Private server and the Standard Server is that the Standard server cannot be modified. This is the case for all hosts, not just HFB.

well.. on another note then. If the bliss people have seemed to fix the duping issues.... Why is it so difficult for the Official DayZ team to fix it?
