I often mute the game sound and play third party soundtracks, who need to hear gunshots or footsteps these dayz anyway.

EDIT: That was sarcasm but now that I think about it considering 90% of deaths are to teleporting hackers I might as well put some tunes on.

cant listen to music while i play because i cant hear people sneaking up on me. every other game i play i got play lists for

but if i did listen to music in dayz, i would listen to the shaun of the dead theme every time i went into a city
