Website hosters rip players off too much. Either purchase your own dedicated server/vps or submit to conformists.

You have such a weird way of presenting your argument... but yes, I totally agree that the best DayZ servers are those run by proper admins with full on Virtual/Dedicated boxes instead of the DayZ-in-a-box game server rentals.

There is no real difference between VDS/Dedi plans and Regular DayZ plans for the client, except the level of access you get. With a lot of hosts (mine included) you can change every setting and tweak every file like you would be able to on a full VDS or dedicated server.

Yes, but if you take a look at the second part of my post, the only real difference is that you cannot physically see the server window, but get access to every other bit of the server. The contents of the server window can be seen through the log files anyway.
