@Goldeen:

Well, yes, sometimes you got snipers but these videos are not about scumbags sniping new-born players but the looting of Elektro and Cherno in a nutshell, only where to go...

Question: SHOULD I do a video about how to avoid snipers while looting? there are certain routes I take to get away from sniperfire... If anybody want's that set of tutorials, post here!

On second thing: Yelling friendly is sometimes your only way to survive. I see an armed player he goes from player to target, unless he yells and proves friendly before I can pull my trigger! So, yelling friendly in a situation where you are in a disadvantage could save your life, at least with players that play like me :)

@Alkador: So you allready knew me :3 thanks man, glad to hear you like em :)

Check my channel then, check my newest videos, I tightened up on english, it was one of my first videos and I was nervous but what count's is the content I wanted to provide, right? :)

Let's not argue my man, we europeans should at least stand together, and we germans provide the finest camping lots for you, don't forget :P (That was sarcasm, don't you come crying now, just a joke, as well as the saying all germans eat "Kraut")

Please people, before going into the "german lazy a** bastard with your bad english" check my other videos or think of yourself and how annyoing you would maybe sound like. Youtube is not about sounding like the perfect english speaker, it's to spread videos, knowledge and stuff, never forget that and without many bad-english-vids you would never had some of your most valuable information, I would bet my a** on that! I just say: FPSRussia, my friend :P

and now on to more serious topics! After that videos... what would you guys want to know about DayZ now? I hope a few people read that and have some questions... that stuff is basics, maybe you want to know more? post here, I'll explain for you!

Even better tip for looting: Don't loot Cherno/Elektro at all.

Well, it's a start... I went rather good with Berezino-Stary-NWA or Zelenogorsk-Stary-NWA but chance for maps and compasses are better in elektro and cherno, that's why I still go there

"Let's not argue my man, we europeans should at least stand together, and we germans provide the finest camping lots for you, don't forget :P"

And WE provide camping spots for YOU German's every summer.

Taking over our beaches AGAIN and digging holes all over the place, claiming that part of the beach is part of Germany! :P :P :P

(sorry that was to easy :) )

FOR SOME NEXT VIDEO'S:

Maybe a video on the accuracy of weapons.. there's one for the crosbow that's a perfect example.

Maybe good routes to get loot and weaponry, and to get to the north safely.

Starting without a map, what points are easy to use as navigation, landmarks etc....

Hehe, now we're even :P

I actually like your ideas! I did some of these earlier but will revamp them again because I got some nice easier ways than before

Accuracy... well, that is one perfect idea! Know what? I will do that! Do you have a channel man? Since the Idea is from you, I will put it in the desc. if you have one

See, first some nagging, then nearly friends! Must be because we are neighbours...

looting those big cities is definetly a good way to learn when you are in the first few lives, if start staying in the woods you will not learn how to shoot, consider that a lot of people never played arma2, and you will always die against other players, good geared players, in the north. a good shotgun-makarov firefight is the best way to learn how rough can be this game

Exactly! You could go north straight away but as you said, no experience is deadly up there :) Beans for you, you are totally right!

thanks for the tips and tricks to go around cherno and elecktro. The sniper yea maybe at a high point at the factory or at the roofs of the hospital at least a high point for sure. Tip for that try to rush them out last what snipers like is somebody going to them except for running away. They get in bad position when somebody gets closer and closer and as end result they freak out and panic also you have a perfect weapon to mow down close range players as at mid range one problem your weapon is loud as hell.

I think there is such a disagreement on the proper way to loot cherno/elektro because people don't specify how populated the server is.

No one is going to snipe a server with 7 people in it. If I'm on a server with <10 people, I'm going to move slower and quieter so that I don't draw in zombie aggro, giving away my position. I'm going to go right for the firestation and roll the dice that its empty and that there is a gun in it.

If the server has 20 people on it, I'm going to assume the firestation / supermarket is hopping. I will move quickly as if there is a sniper in the common places. I'm going to zig-zag and cut LOS as often as I can and try to get to a building like a barn or a pup that has a chance of an enfield or even a makarov BEFORE I go looking for the firestation. As I'm running around, I'm listening for sniper shots to let me know if there is a sniper in a tower somewhere.

If its a 40+ person server, I'm going to stay as hidden as I possibly can and wait for a chance to loot a dead player, because they will be everywhere. The loot spawns are going to be picked clean already. Then, unless I'm looking to deathmatch, I am going to get my butt OUT of cherno or elektro, because on a 40 person server I am not going to last long.

Totally different play styles depending on how busy the server is.

Best way to survive is getting a hatchet, a hunting knife, a water bottle and some matches. And ofcourse some kind of weapon, the more silent the better, or even use your hatchet. Kill animals inn the forest or on far away fields, loot them for meat and cook it using your hatchet to get wood and your matches to light a fire. When you got empty field bottles you just fill them inn fresh water lakes. Then atleast your survive and your trip to cities or villages becomes more a thing of finding nifty cool loot and good looking guns rather then a must to survive :)
