Logbook, notebook?

I think it should exist a sort of a Notebook as a player can type in day after day what they've done, write down their adventures, experience and IF they get killed, another player can pick it up and read it. It would be pretty awesome to read what they've been through.

I think the internet we're using right now are doing that function well enough. I see stories, diaries a lot in this forum :)

But when this actually goes into the game,

i think i'm gonna write all sorts of horrible words for the guy who killed me to read.

Like a diary sort of thing? This has serious potential. If you started with it you could just 'write'(type) in it all the stuff you had been through, all your adventures, what you did, and even leave a message for whoever finds your body/ kills you. Also if you get critically injured you could write death note sort of things before you die.

"If you are reading this, I, Aeron, am dead. Since the infection, I have survived in constant terror by looting the little remaining food from the desolate infected towns. I have made friends and companions who helped me through this apocalypse, and I have met people who have almost sent me straight to hell. Situations like these change people, not always for the good. I have had some of my closest friends turn on me. My brother, who used to be the gentlest man I knew recently killed someone without a second thought for the supplies on the poor mans back. I have no idea who you are, or what your story is, but you need to know this.

You are incredibly lucky to be alive. So many others, like me, have perished. You never know who is going to be around the corner, wether it is a friend or foe. Someone could be lining their sights up on you right this second. So treat every moment as your last. Notice the beauty of everything. Take pride in your very existence, and live the rest of your life to the fullest. This will be your one and only chance.

Another idea could be to drop logbooks/journals across the area and having a "follow the leader" theme to it. It could either lead to a stock of ammo or maybe a bandit trap... the possibilities are endless if this would be implemented.
