I run so slow

I run so much slower than the normal person. It makes it impossible to play since in the time it takes my friend to run 1000m I run 400m. Anyone have any ideas on why I run so slow or how to fix it? And its not like I'm walking, its my full out sprint.

Pretty sure running speed is by the amount of your Thirst,Hunger and possibly the amount of stuff you have in your backpack.
