Could I run Dayz?

I know you guys get this question a lot but could this system run dayz decently?

AMD FX - 4100 3.6GHz

Nvidia GTX 550 ti

4 GB RAM

450w PSU

WIN 7 Pro 64 /SP1

I'm not trying to compare this to an i5/i7 all I want to know is can I run Dayz/ARMA 2 with a decent FPS?

Yeah I worked out the Total TDP should fall somewhere around 372 so I didnt want to go over kill on the PSU But thanks Look forward to starting on here soon :D!

You can't get decent FPS in DayZ atm :P The frames are doing what they want and on some servers you can't even paly because it just has terrible fps.

Ah I did not know this is this with all servers?

It dosen't rely on the server. Just a very few have very low fps for some reason. Don't ask me why. I think it's because something failed to load when the server restarted the last time...

But DayZ has in general low fps. Up to 80 fps when you have a good PC. I think your PC can get up to ~60 fps in DayZ.

Hey I would be happy with anywhere close to 60 FPS as I said I am not hoping for miracles just to play the game :)

Im assuming though that even systems with i5/7's will lag slightly with heavily populated cities etc..?

Do you mean lag or less fps? Lag is based on the server and your/the other players connection.

I play on a laptop and can enter cities just with a bit less fps, but it's still alright. But I think it's not the same when there are 30 people in one city...
