Questions before buying...

I want to buy the game but I have some questions about it.

1) So when you die on a server, is that it? Does that mean you can't play again? Or do you have to start from scratch again?

2) Is buying Arma II still worth it if I just play this game mod?

Thats all I'm wondering about it :)

It's 30$... you'll get more enjoyment out of this mod than any game you've played in the last decade.

1. You just start from scratch again.

2. Iv played Arma 2 for about 110 hours now. Thats all from Dayz. So yeah i have gotten my $30 worth out of it.

You lose all of your gear and start over.

Yes, absolutely. ArmA II can be really fun as well though, and the armory is a great place to familiarize yourself with weapons and controls.
