NV goggles disappeared when trying to store in motorcycle

So I had no things in my motorcycle but still the goggles were destroyed when I tried to store them in it.. Apparently it has space for a jerry can, but not a pair of nv goggles :( Is this a known bug? Couldn't find any info on this.

the motorcycle has space for 5 items, but no weapon slots! Since the NV goggles are considered to be weapon when you store them on a tent or vehicle, thats the reason they dissapeared!

When you put things in vehicles that don't fit they don't disappear, but instead they end up somewhere around the vehicle. (usually within 10 meters)
