I've been looking on the dew blog every day, to keep me updated on stand alone project and new alpha patches. But unfortunately, there has not been anything new there since the blog was opened. Is there really so little going on atm? Or is the team too busy to give us any news there?

I really don't think there is alot going on. They are only going to make so much money from the standalone. Rocket never and still doesn't intend on making this into the money making machine that so many people seen it could become. He is happy just to make the game he wants to make. Albeit will take longer with less resources invested.

The devs blog has been updated it has more than one post.

When you have a small team working on a project at the speed you can imagine they are, plus the lead person is finishing up after months of interviews and PR stuff which is neccessary of course their will be a dorment period where they will be very quiet, If they talked about everything and new features their working in then it would spoil it.

They have stated that theyre porting the major things over to a stand alone engine currently and the art team is making a huge amount of buildings enterable.

As well as very nice inside compared to what its like currently.

Jump on their twitter and follow them, the DayZ Mod forums wont get you many answers, Just follow the blog on the game site or their twitter for the dev team.

Twiter, tumbler, dews blog, facebook. I follow it all. I was hoping for more info, screencaptures, teaser videos. Havnt been said anything for almost a week.
