MAZiERNiCKi 0 Posted September 26, 2012 yesterday i could not play DayZ on steam due to an error message saying "CD KEY IN USE"SOMEONE HELP PLEASE... as i am on a single PC only, i think someone is using a CD KEY generator and has got mine by chance, please cancel it and issue me a new key, i have not shared my key, and im not using multiple machines. i feel as if this does not get fixed that everyone can go get FU*KED due too their poor security and support in these situations, no other company would have this, and would solve it by simply issuing a new key and cancel the old one so that piece of sh*t hacker can go K*LL HIMSELF!!! :(:( Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

rekrul 91 Posted September 26, 2012 Just to kill the "I think someone used a key-generator and got my key - gimme new"-argument: For each letter in the CD key, you can have A-Z and 0-9, meaning 36 possible combinations. Arma has a 24 digit CD key. The math is 36^24=22452257707354600000000000000000000000 combinations or 22 undecillion if you prefer, meaning the odds of a keygen making your key is 1:22 undecillion*. Also we, unlike you, know of this:http://www.battleye.com/index.html*-Actually less since the keygen doesn't just throw out random combos but according to an unknown formula.
