eric11 5 Posted September 25, 2012 On my way to Cherno, I had two things in mind: more m24 rounds and possible guillie suit. After raiding them both, I go to the church. There was someone crawling through the doorway and he had a big sniper rifle (later he tells me it's the Ksv blabla something) so I hide behind a wall. i write "friendly?", no response. I write again and then he said yes. He told me his legs were broken so I figured I could help the guy out. Another guy joins us offering help and then leaves. After I gave him the morphine, he gave me a blood transfusion and i gave him one of my blood bags. After chatting a bit, he told me that he wanted a different gun because it was too big and it made him drop his backpack. I told him I saw an AK74u in the firestation and a czech pack in the supermarket. We decided to go for the pack first. As we enter and i show him where the czech pack was, we here gunfire and glass shattering. I ducked down and i see my buddy lying on the floor. I didn't know if he was alive because he wasn't moving so I got kind of scared. I approach him and start asking "u alive?" and he responds his is. I'm scared shitless because someone was still shooting and we couldn't spot him. The shots were heard from the firehouse's direction. We start crawling towards the front door, cross the street and head into the red brick house. While we reached the house, i looked at the roof of the firehouse but I didn't see anyone. Shots are still fired, but i didn't know if it was towards us or someone else because I kept hearing some moaning of people or zombies getting shot. After 5 minutes we exit the house to the yard and take cover behind the wall. We kept wainting and trying to spot the shooter, but with no luck. I had to go do a math assignment with a friend and my buddy didn't want to die in such a manner (neither did I) so we gave each other our steam accounts and parted from the lobby.I've had similar experiences by being friendly. I hope you will be friendly to strangers too (as long as you spot them first so they won't shoot you if they are not friendly)
Fitzkrieg 129 Posted September 25, 2012 I'll give you a good story, I was being a medic in Cherno, when some kid, he said he was 13 needed help, so I come to him and he axes me to death just to find I only had medical supplies and an axe on me. Well, I asked him why on the private server's side chat and he said because he's a bandit. I had no other response than "You're no bandit. You're worthless" then found him again and killed him with an M9 I found, moral of story: don't fuck with a bandit hunter trying to be a 'medic'.

CombatWombat (DayZ) 63 Posted September 25, 2012 He had a KSVK? How is that possible, I thought it wasn't even possible to get your hands on it with scripts, guess I was wrong. (For all those who don't play Arma, the KSVK is similar to the AS50 but it is incredibly more effective against vehicles)
