Why don't people put tents on top of map?

Use the wiki map instead of DayZDB. I've noticed most online maps are cropped on the West or North for some mysterious reason.

It's par of a conspiracy to make people think map is smaller so that they can plant tents in that land.

I don't even go up there to look for tents anymore.

Much easier to just hit the small ponds/lakes/dams. I find all the same stuff in tents underwater that I would at NWAF or Stary, so why run up there to gear, when I can just get geared on the southern part of the map before I head that way?

That probably won't last forever though. But then again if you're smart enough to put a tent or five there in the first place...
