jamesjordan24@hotmail.com 14 Posted September 25, 2012 So, I have battleye set to ping kick at 800 ping in beserver.cfg, yet BE is still deciding to kick me for having 300+ Ping. This is particularly annoying as the players on my server are mostly AUS/EU based, and are continually being kicked regardless of settings.Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this issue, will post more info if asked for. inch 40 Posted September 25, 2012 Is your server reading the correct config?Have you entered the max ping value correctly? Should be something like this 'MaxPing 250'Your start up string should also look something like this;-port=2326 -mod=expansion\beta;expansion\beta\expansion;@DayZ;@Hive -name=Server-DayZ -config=[Drive]:\Server-DayZ\Server-DayZ.cfg -cfg=[Drive]:\Server-DayZ\Arma2-DayZ.cfg -profiles=[Drive]:\Server-DayZ-Name=Server-Dayz, is the folder it'll create within your config directory. This is normally where your active BE.cfg normally is.If you have any problems/questions let me know.
Torndeco (DayZ) 46 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Did u remove your previous active battleye config file ?For example in your battleye folder do haveBEServer_xxxxxxxxxxx.cfgbeserver.cfgEdit your BEServer_xxxxxxxx.cfg to reflect your ping settings u want & reboot server.Or remove the BEServer_xxxxxxxx.cfg & reboot server, so battleye uses the beserver.cfg file.Either way afterwards u should remove your beserver.cfg file afterwards to stop script kiddies from downloading the file to get your rcon password Edited September 29, 2012 by Torndeco
