How to find vehicle spawn point from logs?

Recommended Posts

Like a lot of others we have not seen a helicopter spawn on our server for a week or so now. When I looked at the logs I notice the following occur a minute or so after server resets:

14:03:43 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [1548d0c0# 1055290: uh1h.p3d,"damage"] / UID: "11417714095630111""

14:03:43 "HIVE: WRITE: "CHILD:306:2153392:[["glass1",1]]:0:""

14:03:43 "WRITE: ['PASS']"

I assume this means it is spawning somewhere, but instantly gets destroyed, so I guess it is either over water or spawns up in the air and falls to earth (though I guess in that respect we would get some smoke).

Is there anyway to figure out WHERE on the map this is happening so we can try and fix the spawn please?

would also like to know how to interpretate the coordinates. A scripter portet all vehicles of our server and all players to his location, killed everyone and moved the vehicles to an unknown location. We got the logs but we do not find any vehicles till now.

That's a log that pops up when someone parks a vehicle outside of the map. It can crash your server if not dealt with.

At least you are getting a heli to spawn!

Surely the grid reference is in another section of the logs someplace?

I think he was talking about his server, cause these logs don't display any coordinates.

coordinates will be in this format:

7:20:37 "HIVE: UPDATING OBJ: [1571f040# 1055535: tt650.p3d REMOTE,"position"] / UID: "34681211210149""
7:20:37 "HIVE: WRITE: "CHILD:305:2093360:[149,[3468.13,2112.12,-0.019424]]:0:""

Where 149 is the height above sea level, 3468 is the east to west grid coordinate, 2112.12 is the SOUTH TO NORTH coordinate, and -0.0 is the distance off the ground.

I don't have any entries like that in my log though (not for the UH1H anyway). Only entry I have is like the one above.

Restart and hope for the best because like I said, that shit can crash your server.
