griffonbr 1 Posted September 25, 2012 Hi m8.I´m using the MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition/OC. With the new drivers, I´m able to get 60 FPS in wilderness areas and 40 FPS at the cities. It´s a pretty good VGA, also, new drivers will come and I think that it will getting better with they.I overclock it with the MSI Afterbunner, it´s pretty simple and you can have some more FPS´s at DayZ.Here is the tutorial.http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/09/03/msi_gtx_660_ti_power_edition_oc_video_card_review/3My system spec are.i5 2500k @ 4.3ghz8GB Vengeance 1600Mhz500 GB Western Digital Blue only for OS.500 GB Western Digital Blue dedicated only for games.MSI GTX 660 Ti Power Edition OC.OCZ Modxstream 700w Dell S2230MX monitorIf you need more information, I´m here to help you. :thumbsup:Cheers!Luis FelipyGriffonBR

christopherwright_75@hotmail.co.uk 109 Posted September 25, 2012 Save a little more and get the 670 the 192 bit memory bus on the 660ti will show its gimpness sooner (even at 1920X1080 it impacts when higher AA settings are used) the 670 for not alot more is alot better. griffonbr 1 Posted September 25, 2012 (edited) Well, the differences between GTX 660 with the GTX 670 about FPS are minimum, just 5 FPS depending of the game. But with you can afford the GTX 670, go for it, but if you can´t the MSI GTX 660 Ti PE/OC will do the job, I can garantee for you. : )If you overclock it, you will have even more FPS.You must remember also, they DayZ (ARMA II Series) are more CPU than GPU, it doesn't matter if you have a powerful VGA if you can´t have a good CPU either. christopherwright_75@hotmail.co.uk 109 Posted September 25, 2012 http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/598?vs=647Thats the difference then take in to account anyone can clock a 670 to perform at stock 680 levels but even a heavily OC'd 660ti wont get up to a stock 670Not sure where in the world you are but the fancier model 660ti's here cost £15-30 less than a stock 670 in my opinion the 670 is more than worth that small extra.
