Changed start?

Saw some vids of Day Z and got interested but whenever I start the game I start with no weapon and close to zombies who instantly hunt me down. I thought you at least would start with a weapon in this game. Is this a bug or is it the new deal?

Adapt or die, no one has spawned with a weapon in a long time.

Remember to crawl or kneel ( z and x keys) when near zombies, more so if your not armed. Guns were taken out of fresh spawn a while ago and it makes sense! Failing that run into a Building, they walk inside most buildings!

Find a weapon and use stealth! You won't go far wrong!

And when you run into zombies, go crouched and alternate Q & E. :D

That's how the game works. You'll die 100 times and learn something new every time, lol.

Crouch walk when there are zombies close-by or they'll see you from a mile away. If they start chasing you then go in to full sprint (double tap W), so you don't get hit and can try to lose them.
