Haven't watched, but beans anyhow for the effort.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't include my close up fighting techniques either.

(storming a snipernest with an inventory of grenades and a backpack full of tincans was quite fun. thanks to the team laying suppressing fire, we pissed those guys off a treat.)

Ha ha thanks, and no that doesn't sound like one of my offensive tactics but doesn't mean i wouldn't use it!

Way to Complicated, all you need is one person to run in as fast as he can so he doesn't get shot, run into a room, and sound whore for another player. Takes less then 30 seconds and less gear to lose.

Running though the backdoor shouting "I BRING THEE PINEAPPLES! :D" before killing everything in the room (including myself) was one of the funniest moments i've had in DayZ.

Been considering using it as a tactic in standalone if i can get Dambusters playing over direct chat.

anyhow i'm derailing your thread already! sorry!

But this is aimed at groups, fair enough send one man in but he comes across 2 guys crept up in the corner of a room then you can kiss your player goodbye, using the overlap technique as in the video it allows a complete room sweep with a smaller chance of being the target yourself..

Also at any point the squad can take up positions and be able to defend the building as a strong fireteam, pretty hard to push through and almost impossible to defeat.

It seemed slow for your manpower. Also it doesn't seem that you have any exterior coverage. A lot of bunching up opens you up to sniper spam or a nade.

I'm just nitpicking though, overall it's a sound way to clear a building.

Yeah it was only the 3rd run, after a bit more practice it will be quicker.

I agree with some of the problems, exterior protection can be implemented with larger numbers or breaking the 3rd fire team off to provide cover, i was just teaching them all at once the routine.

Once it's perfected it is as you said a sound manouver and pretty quick too, good for flushing enemy out.

Have several man covering outside doorways, and you honestly don't need an entire squad to loot a building at a time. If you were, you could have your group check several rooms at once instead of just sitting there while one person does it at a time.

Again this is just a training video, i was taking the whole group through the routine, but it easier with smaller groups though in my experience alot easier to hold the place down with more men placed correctly
