Chernarus delete help.

I am having the issue with DayZ where I can't play the mod because a file chernarus was deleted. I looked it up and google and did the copy and paste from Arma II addons and put the 8 GBs of files into Operation Arrowhead. I still got the error. I put in a new launch path I uninstalled from steam and reinstalled both the mod and Arma II. I used the torrent to download and tried the playwithsix client. Still had the deleted error and several others. I am currently reinstalling the game once more but both at separate times instead of all at once. Does anyone have any help for me please I really would like to enjoy my purchase.

Have you tried installing the DayZ mod through DayZ Commander? I'm not sure if it will fix your problem but it is definitely worth a shot if you haven't already given it a go. http://www.dayzcommander.com/

I have but it said that both games were out of date and then it had an error when I tried to install. I'm so frustrated but thank you for the response I appreciate it. Any other ideas?

If it says they are out of date and fail to install, then perhaps it's failing to find the respective directories. Have you launched ArmA II, then ArmA II Operation Arrowhead then Arma II Combined Operations?

I have not. Good point I will try that when I am home. So impatient though hahah
